Celebrate the season of giving with your local firefighters! This December, Bothell firefighters will be collecting food and toy donations to help families in need during the holidays.

The Santa Drive will kick off at the annual Tree Lighting Festival taking place December 1st in downtown Bothell. Throughout the month, firefighters will also be driving the engine around local neighborhoods to collect much-needed items. Dates, times and details are listed below.

All items collected will be given to Hopelink for distribution. Donations can also be dropped off at our Downtown Fire Station located at 10726 Beardslee Blvd.

Donations families need most this year are:

  • Non-food items: Hygiene products like toothbrushes and toothpaste, paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels and pet food.
  • Toys: Toys will be donated to children ranging from 2 to 18 years of age. A few ideas include puzzles, board games, lego sets, headphones, athletic wear, play-doh, science kits and more.

Firefighters are volunteering their time to put on this event. We would like to thank them and the greater Bothell community for your generosity and support.

Get ready for lights, festive music and merriment, and join your firefighters in giving back this holiday season!
