Ham RadioHAM 101

Why use radio when we have phones?

Storms, floods, fires and earthquakes have all shown us that our regular communications may not work when we need them most. In emergency situations, often times the most reliable source for getting the word out is radio.

Join us for an overview of how Ham, FRS, GMRS radios work, the types available, their differences, and the basic rules for use.
