Surface Water Management

What We Do

Surface water staff work to protect our local streams through storm system inspection, maintenance, construction oversight, stream monitoring, and education and outreach opportunities to foster healthy watershed stewardship. Learn how you can help.

Program Updates

Surface Water Design Manual updated Nov. 1, 2017

In response to flooding within the City of Kenmore, Chapter 4 of the Bothell Standards has been revised to require a Type 3 downstream analysis and Level 3 flow control for all projects draining to the Little Swamp Creek basin. Learn more and view the updated manual.

Report a Spill

Let us know right away if you see a spill so we can try to contain it before it reaches any of our storm drains or local streams. Report a spill.
