Penn Park Reservoir Replacement

News & project updates

September 29, 2016

The contractor has completely removed the former water tank, which had been serving the area since 1960.  The new tank is under construction.

Project description

As part of the City's adopted Water Comprehensive Plan, we are replacing the existing potable water storage tank located in Penn Park to increase its storage capacity.  The new tank will be in the same location as the existing tank.  The estimated construction cost is $2.7M.

Public impacts

Penn Park is closed to users during construction. In the mean time, why not visit one of Bothell's other parks?

Construction began in late March and should wrap up this December.

Now you don't.
