City Leadership

The City of Bothell operates under a Council-Manager form of government, the same form of government used by nearly 50 percent of cities and towns with more than 2,500 residents. This form of government combines the strong managerial experience of an appointed manager with the strong political leadership of elected officials.
  1. City Council

    The seven members of the City Council set policy direction for the City.

  2. Leadership Team

    The City Manager is a highly trained professional manager who carries out policies set by the Council and administers the day-to-day operation of the City. A team of department directors and others help the City Manager run the City.

  3. Municipal Court

    The Municipal Court handles infractions (tickets) and misdemeanors that occur within the City.
