WE provide exception police services to our community believing everything is worth our best effort.  We continue to learn new and better methods for fulfilling our mission. 

• Bothell detectives worked in conjunction with many north end agencies including King County and Snohomish County Sheriff’s offices and the FBI/Seattle Police Department Street Crimes Task Force, investigating a series of bank robberies (Tour de Banks) occurring east of I-5.  The Key Bank at Thrasher’s Corner and US Bank in Canyon Park were two of nine banks robbed by an armed suspect.  Detectives and the Crime Analysis Officer all assisted in the investigation by conducting surveillance on the subject’s residence in Woodinville.  The subject moved to Bothell and the surveillance continued there.  In addition, the Crime Analysis Officer provided needed intelligence that was used by all investigators.  King County Sheriff’s Office Tac-30 assisted detectives in serving an arrest warrant and a search warrant for the subject’s residence.  Bothell detectives were part of the search team of the suspect’s home.  Evidence connecting the suspect to several robberies was recovered including a handgun matching the gun used in the robberies.  The Detectives and Crime Analysis Officer were commended for their EXCELLENCE during this very high profile and successful investigation.
