Orca Recovery Day Volunteer Work Party

Saturday, October 16, 2021

Join Friends of North Creek Forest and City of Bothell for a volunteer work party on Orca Recovery Day!

Help restore this urban forest to improve habitat for salmon! North Creek Forest has nine wetlands and seven streams that filter water and protect habitat for endangered salmon living nearby. We are going to be walking up a trail into the inner forest and removing invasive blackberries where they are creeping into a forest clearing. Tools and work gloves are provided.

Dress for the weather, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (boots preferred), bring a water bottle, and wear a face covering when necessary. Volunteers ages 1-15 must be accompanied by an adult. RSVP is required. Sign up
