City of Bothell and Friends of North Creek Forest are celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service together again! Join us at this volunteer work party to help remove invasive species, add mulch, or plant native species. And be sure to stop by the education booth at the event to learn about native plants! Registration is required.
Join us at North Creek Forest to give back to your community on this annual Day of Service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr!
Volunteer work parties provide great networking opportunities, an introduction to restoration ecology, and a fun way to spend time in the great outdoors. Tasks could include invasive species removal, spreading mulch, planting native species, watering young plants, and more. Tools and work gloves are provided, or you can bring your own.
Dress for the weather. Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required. Boots are highly recommended.
RSVP is required. Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
