  • City of Bothell Announces the Centennial Music in the Park Summer Concert Lineup & Two Locations This Year

    Bothell, Wash. - City of Bothell announces the 2009 Music in the Park summer concert lineup. Concerts are free and held every Friday evening beginning on July 10 through Aug. 28*. Bands play from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Park at Bothell Landing (9919 NE 180th Street), with the exception of the Aug. 28 concert, which will begin at 7 p.m. and held at the Pop Keeney Stadium (18600 98th Ave. NE, Bothell). The last concert will be followed by a special Centennial celebration fireworks display.

    The Friday night lineup includes:

    • July 10: Swing Set Big band sounds of the 30s & 40s
    • July 17: Dead Edsels 50s & 60s done right
    • July 24: Jonathan Harris Country
    • July 31: Shambala 3 Dog Night Revue
    • Aug. 7: That 80s Show The ultimate 80s live concert experience!
    • Aug. 14: Alex Duncan Reggae, Dance Hall & Soca Sensation
    • Aug. 21: The Coats Acapella at its best  
    • Aug. 28*: The Machine Everything from the Beatles to Green Day

    *Note: This concert begins at 7 p.m. and will be located at Pop Keeney Stadium with a special fireworks display to follow.
