Bothell, Wash. – City of Bothell presents its ninth annual RiverFest: Family Fun & Then Some event on Sunday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Downtown Bothell between Main and NE 185th Streets. Celebrate the end of summer with free family fun and entertainment for all! Scheduled activities at various times and locations (subject to change) include:
• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
o City of Bothell Show & Tell, a City and local resource fair (City Hall,18305 101st Ave. NE)
o Radio Disney AM 1250 onsite entertainment (101st Avenue NE)
o Car show sponsored by Brooks Biddle Chevrolet in Bothell (Main Street)
o Installation of City Centennial Time Capsule (Police Department Building, 18410 101st Ave. NE)
o Hobby & Volunteer Expo featuring local non-profit organizations and clubs

o Inflatable amusements for kids (101st Avenue NE)
o Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce Craft & Merchants Market (NE 183rd Street)
• 12:30 p.m.: Pie-eating contest (101st Avenue NE and NE 183rd Street)
• 1 p.m.: The Afrodisiacs and Spazmatics in concert (101st Avenue NE).
Road closures include:
• Main Street from SR 522/527 to 102nd Avenue NE: Closes at 7 a.m./reopens at 4 p.m.
• 101st Avenue NE from Main Street to NE 185th Street: Closes at 7 a.m./reopens at 4 p.m.
• NE 183rd Street from SR 527 to 101st Avenue NE: Closes at 7 a.m./reopens at 5 p.m.
• NE 183rd Street from 102nd Avenue NE to 101st Avenue NE: Closes at 7 a.m./reopens at 4 p.m.
RiverFest: Family Fun & Then Some activities are free unless otherwise noted.
Sidebar: Due to lack of resources, there will not be a “Summits of Bothell/S.O.B.” bicycle ride this year during RiverFest.
