PARKS

City of Bothell has a total of 200.84 acres of parks, open space and trails that includes 19 parks, two sportsfield complexes and a skate park.  Our parks showcase the Sammamish River, the City's history and an opportunity to get away from it all.  A comprehensive guide to the City's parks is available at www.myparksandrecreation.com.  Throughout our parks there are picnic shelters that can be reserved.  Find out availability by contacting recreation@ci.bothell.wa.us.

MyParksAndRecreation is a partnership of nine cities working together to serve the greater Eastside with a community connection for recreation, parks and trails.  When you enter myparksandrecreation.com, you will have access to information for not only to the City of Bothell's programs and parks, but also those of the partner cities.

The Sammamish River and Burke Gilman Trails, managed by King County Natural Resources, run through the City of Bothell along the Sammamish River.  The trails extend from Marymoor Park in Redmond to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Seattle.

RECREATION

The City provides a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages and interests including structured classes, teen activities, adult sports and youth camps.  Programs are offered at the Lytle House and other City buildings as well as in City parks and school facilities.  For citizen convenience, online registration is offered at www.myparksandrecreation.com.

Community events are what gives Bothell that hometown feel and the ability to socialize with your neighbors.  The Recreation Services Division organizes events like the Community Egg Hunt, Freedom Festival (4th of July Parade, community dance, Re-enactment of the Battle of Concord), Music in the Park, RiverFest, Safe Halloween and Winterfest.  All of these events are offered free of charge.
