Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure; development and implementation of recreation programs and community events; and the implementation of the City’s vision through application of the adopted codes and standards.

Public Works provides a variety of essential services to safeguard the quality of life, health, property values and public welfare. The Department is organized into four divisions, each focusing on specific services: capital improvement engineering; transportation engineering, field operations and parks and recreation.
