Police respond to burglary

On Aug. 20 at approximately 10:40 a.m. officers were dispatched to an interrupted residential burglary in the 10500 block of Woodinville Drive. When officers arrived they learned the female victim had entered her residence and found a male subject inside. The female said she was assaulted and the male subject fled the scene on foot. A police K9 searched the area but was not able to locate the suspect. The female was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries and evaluation. Detectives have been assigned to assist and will be investigating allegations the victim was sexually assaulted by the suspect during the commission of this crime. The suspect is described as a white, male, adult wearing a dark, short sleeve t-shirt (bearing unknown type logo) and dark jeans.
