At approximately 2:50 p.m. this afternoon, crews from Bothell Fire Department, Shoreline Fire Department, Northshore Fire Department, Woodinville Fire Department, Kirkland Fire Department, Snohomish County Fire District #7, and Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to a two-alarm apartment fire located at 20225 Bothell-Everett Hwy in Bothell.

Upon arrival, crews found smoke and fire coming from the porch area of a third floor unit that extended into the attic space. All occupants evacuated and there are no injuries to report at this time. Firefighters made a fast attack and were able to contain the fire spread to a single unit. Additional units experienced water and smoke damage. Red Cross responded to assist impacted residents. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The City of Bothell Fire Department strongly urges everyone to practice home escape routes frequently and identify a safe outside meeting area.
