[ARCHIVED] Plan ahead for 15-minute delays on Bothell Way

lane closed

Drivers should plan ahead for delays of about 15 minutes on Bothell Way NE starting Monday, Oct. 29. There will be southbound lane closures from 240th Street SE to NE 201st Place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays for four to six weeks. Drivers should watch for changing conditions as construction continues, from lane shifts to one-lane traffic with flaggers.

Impacts on traffic will be particularly high at the intersection of 240th Street SE and Bothell Way. There will be only one lane open with alternating traffic south of 242nd St SE and Bothell way (the stoplight for Safeway).

The lane closures are needed so that PSE can install a new natural gas line and power for a new development.
