Conservation districts across the Puget Sound region will celebrate Orca Recovery Day on Saturday, Oct. 19, and one of them will be celebrating right here in Bothell! Help restore salmon habitat by planting native species and spreading mulch along the banks of Parr Creek in the Bothell Business Park. Parr Creek is home to a variety of thriving wildlife, including ducks, otters, and beavers, but it needs our help to become more suitable for salmon. Creating healthy streamside habitat will support salmon populations, which in turn, will support our local orcas! Come join City of Bothell and King Conservation District and be part of this local restoration project. Registration is required through King Conservation District.
