Quick 911 Call Helps Officers Arrest Two Suspects in Commercial Burglary Case

On Saturday, January 21 at 4:13 AM - an alert neighbor called 911 after hearing breaking glass and witnessing three suspects getting out of a white van near a business in the 17700 block of Bothell Way NE.  Bothell Police patrol vehicle in dark setting and visible damage after suspect car collided.

  Officers quickly responded and located the van, which turned out to be stolen.  The suspects tried to get away in the van - and collided with two patrol vehicles.  The officers in the patrol vehicles were not injured.  Meanwhile, suspects in the van didn’t get far -- before they reached a dead end, and tried to flee on foot.

  Officers arrested two suspects on first degree burglary, along with several other charges, including assault, possession of a stolen vehicle, and attempting to elude.   Bothell Police also recovered the stolen van, along with mounds of evidence inside, including methamphetamine and many tools typically used in burglaries/break-ins.  Both suspects had outstanding warrants for their arrest. They have been booked and are now in custody.

  Officers are still investigating, and more arrests and charges may follow.
