robbery suspects

The Bothell Police Department is currently investigating three separate robberies which occurred in the parking lot of Fred Meyer, located in the 20800 block of SR-527, in the City of Bothell. In each case East Indian women were targeted and had gold necklaces forcibly ripped from their necks.

The first reported incident occurred on April 29th and information on the robbery was posted to the Bothell Police blog. Since that time two additional robberies, one on June 30th and another on July 19th, have occurred. All three robberies are similar in nature.

In each robbery, two or three black male suspects were involved. The suspects appeared to locate their victims in the store and followed them to the parking lot. Once in the parking lot, one of the suspects approached the victim from behind and ripped the necklace or necklaces from the victim’s neck and immediately fled in a waiting vehicle. In each of the three incidents the victims have suffered scrapes and bruises.

Attached are surveillance photos of the suspects who were involved with the June 30th and July 19th robberies.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on these robberies to phone the Bothell Police Tips line at (425) 487-5551.
