Canyon Park Planning

Canyon Park Draft EIS Posted

With new transit opportunities coming to our area and a growing population, we’ve been working on a plan to guide growth, development, and transportation in the Canyon Park Regional Growth Center. Throughout 2018 and 2019, we convened stakeholder sessions with property and business owners, held public workshops, and sent several different surveys to learn more about community priorities and concerns – and we’re still not done! A draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was posted on Friday, December 6th and we will be scheduling more public meetings in early January. Stay tuned and visit www.bothellwa.gov/CanyonPark to learn more.

Holiday Recycling Tips

 Recycling Tips

Did you know you can compost your tree curbside instead of throwing in the trash? Recology customers can place trees up to six feet tall beside their carts at no cost through January. Waste Management will accept trees in organics (yard debris) carts if the tree is in sections of less than four feet. Trees can’t have flocking, lights, decorations, etc. More at www.bothellwa.gov/HolidayTips.
