Rain and Flooding issues

We still have several areas around Bothell with localized flooding, but our crews expect water to start receding Saturday. Our only full road closure right now is 240th St SE between 27th Ave SE and 35th Ave. We may see high winds tonight, so plan for power outages. Check our website for the latest updates, road closures, and contact numbers.

Canyon Park January Open House

Canyon Park Open House

We had a great open house in January to hear your input on the Canyon Park sub-area plan. We heard a lot of frustration about existing traffic congestion, requests to study more 9th Ave SE trip data, and concerns about school route safety around Crystal Springs Elementary. Many opposed extended 214th SE to 9th Ave SE. There was a lot of interest in bike and walking paths throughout, including a preference for a trail connection on the 214th St SE alignment. Many also requested a greater mix of housing and jobs at the shopping centers to create more activity. See the meeting slides here and learn more at www.bothellwa.gov/CanyonPark.
