Gardening Tips
Spending a lot of time in your garden or yard? Check out some spring seasonal tips about caring for flower and vegetable gardens, trees and shrubs, lawn, watering, and composting.

Census 2020
Has your household completed the Census? Our community needs each and every baby, parent, and grandparent living in Bothell to be counted to ensure we get the funding and representation we deserve. Funding for school programs, clinics, and infrastructure are all impacted! Just take your Census ID from the invitations recently mailed out, or, even if you can’t find that, head to my2020census.gov to complete online.

Cooking Safety Video
Did you know cooking fires are the leading cause of home fires in the United States? With so many of us dining in, there is a higher chance for cooking fires to occur. Stay safe in the kitchen with these tips from the fire department!

COVID-19 Updates

Stay Home. Stay Healthy.

Thank you Bothell for doing your part to stay home, so everyone can stay healthy!  We know it's hard when it is so sunny, but please stay close when going outdoors—if you need to take a car it’s probably too far. Don’t recreate with those outside your household. Practice strong social distancing and stay at least 6-feet apart when getting fresh air. Starting to feel stir-crazy? Check out some tips and well-being resources.

Bothell Permit Timelines Temporarily Suspended

In their virtual meeting on April 7th, City Council received an update on the COVID-19 response. They took action to prevent building permits from expiring during the pandemic. Processing timelines and expiration dates have been temporarily suspended for all applications that were already completed and active permits (as of Jan 1, 2020). Learn more

Utility Billing

Do you normally pay your utility bill in person? With City Hall being closed, we can help you set up online billing, or pay over the phone. Just give us a call at 425-806-6881. If you are past due on payments, you will receive a notice in the mail next week, but we are not charging late fees right now and are not shutting off service this month. If you are having difficulties with payments, please call us so we can help you arrange a payment plan.

Cloth Masks Can Slow the Spread

Even firefighters are masking up! Federal and local health agencies are recommending everyone wear cloth masks in public areas like stores where social distancing may be more difficult to do. It may feel awkward to wear a mask at first but everyone is being asked to do this. Keep up the great work Bothell!
