Dog Park
Pop-up Dog Park Now Open

The Pop-up Dog Park has returned to the Park at Bothell Landing! The Pop-up Dog Park series was created in response to growing demand for accessible, safe, and clean spaces for pets and their owners to get exercise and enjoy the outdoors throughout our community.

Remember to Scoop the Poop!

Whether you’re hanging out in the Pop-up Dog Park or at any other public spaces in Bothell, remember to pick up after your pup. Pet waste should always go in the trash can, not the yard waste or compost bin. Did you know Bothell Municipal Code 6.16.011 actually requires that you have a bag with you to collect your dog’s poop if you and your four-legged friend are on public property or on someone else’s private property?

Face Coverings
When are Face Coverings Required?

Any of us can carry the virus and not realize we’re spreading it when we talk, cough or sneeze. Face coverings are required statewide in all public spaces because they are effective in slowing the spread of COVID-19, especially when combined with 6 feet of physical distance. There are three face cover orders now in place:

  • A  requirement for employers to provide appropriate face coverings or masks to all employees who don’t work alone.

  • A statewide order directing all individuals to wear a face covering in any indoor public setting or when outdoors and unable to maintain 6 feet of physical distance from others. (effective June 26)

  • A governor's order directing businesses to require and enforce the use of face coverings by all customers or visitors. (effective July 7)

The City will be distributing free face masks to the community in early August at various locations throughout the city, more details to follow at bit.ly/BothellCovid. If you need a face mask immediately, and cannot get one or afford one, please email recreation@bothellwa.gov.

Gov Inslee also announced new steps on July 16. Social gatherings in Phase 3 counties are now restricted to 10 people a week outside your household. People in Phase 2 and Modified Phase 1 counties cannot have social gatherings with more than 5 people a week.

City Hall Parking Garage Reopened

The city hall parking garage has reopened as of July 21st, with some changes. Free public parking is now from 8am to 9pm, and pedestrian access to the garage will only be available from 8am to midnight.  Please note, even though overnight parking has never been allowed, many were using the garage as long-term storage and overnight parking. This presented some safety issues for us and made it difficult to manage the parking.  So, towing signs have now been installed and enforcement will be starting.

Reminder: City offices will be closed/not providing service every other Friday for furlough days. Next furlough days are July 24th and August 7th.
