Carbon Monoxide Safety

Temperatures are dropping which means there’s a greater risk for carbon monoxide poisoning. Make sure your CO alarms are in working order, always run generators and other gas powered devices outdoors, a safe distance away from the home, and never use barbecues or grills inside – garages are no exception.

Power Outage Season is Here!

While most power outages only last for short periods of time, major outages from stormy winter weather can leave you without electricity for several days. Report outages to PSE or Snohomish County PUD first and only call 911 if there is a life safety or emergency issue, such as a downed power line. Find out how you can be ready!

Freezing Pipes

As temperatures start to dip, prevent frozen pipes by installing foam faucet covers to protect outdoor spigots, insulating your pipes, and opening kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to let warmer air circulate around the plumbing.
