Utility Billing
Utility Rate Increases
Effective January 1, 2021, utility rates increased for water (6%), sewer (3.5%), and stormwater (5%) to fund reliable, safe, and efficient utility operations and maintenance and to provide revenue for required utility improvements. Rates were increased due to higher costs of wholesale water purchase, cost of wholesale sewer treatment, and general overhead cost increases. Bothell Water/Sewer customers will see this increase reflected on March bills.
