The Pop-up Dog Park at Park at Bothell Landing will close at dusk on Sunday, April 4. Our team is hard at work scouting out the next location, which will open this June as part of the Pop-up Dog Park series. Stay tuned!

Wastemobile April 9 - 11

The Wastemobile is back at UW Bothell from April 9 – 11 from 10 am – 5 pm daily. Take your household hazardous waste products, like propane tanks, pesticides, and automobile products, for free and safe disposal. Check out the full list of accepted items.

Disaster Preparedness Bingo

Get your kids involved in learning about emergency preparedness! Check out the Bingo Card and take a picture or answer the questions and get five in a row. Post your photos to social media using #BothellPrepared for a chance to have your pictures feature on City channels. Show your completed bingo card, pick up fun activity books, and enter a raffle prize drawing on either date:

Cast Your Vote to Survive the Sound

Puget Sound is a tough place for young steelhead trying to migrate to the ocean. Learn how you can help them by following Team #Bothell during this May's Survive the Sound race – an interactive online game that uses real steelhead tracking data to help us understand the obstacles these fish are facing. But first, we need your help choosing which steelhead should be our team mascot!

Celebrate Earth Week

Earth Day is April 22! To celebrate, University of Washington Bothell, Cascadia College, and City of Bothell are partnering to offer virtual events and activities throughout the week to increase sustainability awareness in the community and decrease our impact on the planet.

Construction Season is Starting

Spring kicks off the start of construction season. Work begins on several projects this month, including pavement overlay on Juanita-Woodinville Way NE/NE 160th and 228th St SW/SE. Make sure you’re aware of traffic impacts and learn about upcoming projects:

Sound Transit Citizen Oversight Panel

Sound Transit relies on the oversight and expertise of dedicated and independent volunteers on their Citizen Oversight Panel (COP). They are currently seeking to fill open positions representing the Snohomish County and North King County subareas. Learn more about the COP and apply online.

Washington State Now in Phase 3

As of March 22, all regions of the state have moved into Phase 3 of Washington’s COVID-19 Roadmap to Recovery Plan. Although Phase 3 does allow for greater numbers to gather indoors and outdoors, facial coverings, physical distancing, and other safety protocols are still required.
