State declares wildfire state of emergency, limited burn ban

Gov. Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency  Tuesday, July 6th in response to the growing risk of wildfires. Most outdoor and agricultural burning in Washington is banned until the end of September.  Every summer, Washington and surrounding states are ravaged by wildfires which inevitably leads to wildfire smoke and poor air quality. Check www.psecleanair.org for air quality in your area and do your part to help prevent bark and brush fires:

Scoop It
Remember to scoop the poop!
Whether you’re hanging out in the Pop-Up Dog Park or anywhere else in Bothell, you’re responsible for picking up after your pup. There’s actually a law for that! Bothell Municipal Code 6.16.011 requires you to have a bag with you to collect your dog’s waste if you and your four-legged friend are on public property or on someone else’s private property. And remember – used pet waste bags should go in the trash can, not the yard waste or compost bin.
