Keep Storm Drains Clear
Keep Your Storm Drains Clear

Autumn is here which means leaves are falling! Please collect leaves rather than blowing them into the street. When leaves and debris accumulate around storm drains, localized flooding can occur. Our two street sweepers are running seven days a week to keep roads clear but we still need your help. Orca Recovery Day

Celebrate Orca Recovery Day,
Happening October 16-17

Help a salmon, save an orca! Due to habitat loss, climate change and increased pollution, it’s now more difficult than ever for migrating salmon to make the journey to their home streams to spawn. To save Southern Resident orcas, we need to start with their main food source: salmon. Celebrate Orca Recovery Day by volunteering at a habitat-related stewardship event happening near you.
