pet waste disposal
Pet Waste Belongs in the Trash
Even if you’re using a compostable bag to pick it up, pet waste belongs in the trash. Adding dog poop to your organics bin or compost pile causes contamination. If you’re out with your dog and there isn’t a trash can nearby, you can use an attachment for your dog’s leash that carries a full bag of waste until you can drop it in the trash. Bothell residents can request one of these free leash attachments by taking the Bothell Super Scooper Pet Waste Pledge.
