Meet 1st District Legislators

On Jan. 3, 6 - 8 pm at UWB-Cascadia Activities & Rec Center, come meet and talk with 1st District state Legislators before they head to Olympia for the 2018 session. The City of Bothell is co-sponsoring this event.

Wayne Golf Course preserved

The City of Bothell is now the proud owner of the entire 89-acre Wayne Golf Course property, authorized by the City Council in the City’s largest acquisition for a single park. On Dec. 12, the Council approved the purchase of the Wayne Golf Course Back 9 for about $400,000.

Together with the earlier action to buy the Front 9, this permanently preserves the entire golf course in perpetuity.

Watch the City's website and social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) for updates on how you can get involved in the naming of the new park and in developing the park master plan.

Say "Yes" and volunteer!

Apply by Jan. 16 to serve on any of the City's nine boards and commissions. There are 28 seats currently available, on boards and commissions ranging from Arts & Festivals to Planning and Parks & Recreation.

Serving on a City board or commission is a great way to learn more about how local government works and to serve your community. Boards and commissions review and recommend important policies and plans to the City Council.

Recycle your holiday tree

The new year is a great time to take down your holiday trees. Recology CleanScapes and Waste Management accept natural unflocked and undecorated trees curbside on collection days.
