Public Safety Dialogue Continues – Your voice matters!

The City Council will continue discussing public safety issues at their meeting on Tuesday, May 8 at 6 p.m. at City Hall. You’re invited to attend or tune in.

The Bothell City Council is reaching out to residents, businesses and other community members to assess the gap between public safety service needs and capacity. It’s critical the Council hear community perspectives, concerns and priorities by May 25.

Road closures

Paving to close several blocks in downtown Bothell 

Drivers in downtown Bothell should plan ahead for several full road closures from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 7 and Tuesday May 8 for paving around the Bothell 185 private development project:

  • NE 185th will close between 101st Ave. NE and 104th Ave NE
  • 102nd Ave NE will close between NE 183rd St. and NE 185th St.
  • 103rd Ave NE will close between NE 183rd St. and NE 185th St., and between NE 185th and NE 186th.

Detour routes will be marked, and access will be provided for emergency vehicles as needed. See large map of closures.

Utility discount program for low-income seniors 

Are you a low-income senior, age 62 or older? You might qualify for a 25 percent discount on your water and sewer bills if the City of Bothell provides your service. You can apply for a discount anytime after your 62nd birthday. Call 425-806-6881 or get more information online.

This is the afternoon of "pie day" at the senior center. You can buy a slice of homemade pie and stop by the table in the lobby. City staff will be available with applications and information.

The City wants your feedback on online permitting system features

The City of Bothell is evaluating needs and options for an online permitting system. We would like to hear what features permit applicants think are important in an online permitting system. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey. Your feedback will be used as the City determines what online permitting system best meets the needs.

2018 Adult Softball Leagues

This workshop will teach you what you need to know about how to use your camera to its fullest potential.  Techniques are taught through hands-on exercises by a professional photographer.  DSLR camera (or point-and-shoot camera with DSLR features) and tripod required.
