Making roads last longer

This summer the City will use a new method called Slurry Seal to make our residential streets last longer. A Slurry Seal is a quarter-inch layer of fine gravel, asphalt, and oil that will protect the pavement from weather and refresh the surface.

Along with crack sealing and asphalt patching, slurry seal is a cost-effective way to preserve pavement before it needs complete reconstruction.
