City awarded more than $4.5 million

The City of Bothell will receive nearly $4.54 million in federal funding from the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) for three road and trail projects that help keep people and vehicles moving. Projects include:

  • Bothell Way Widening
  • Juanita-Woodinville Way - NE 160th Street Overlay
  • North Creek Trail

Election results official

Public safety measures pass 

King and Snohomish Counties officially certified election results on Nov. 27. Both the Public Safety Levy and Bond passed with overwhelming support. The levy received more than 60% approval and the bond received nearly 65% approval. Get election result details We greatly appreciate your support!


Santa Food & Toy Drive

Bothell firefighters will help Santa out this year, driving a fire engine through local neighborhoods to collect food and toys to donate to Hopelink. Buy a few extra groceries or a toy or two and watch for them! Get more details.

Balanced budget (scales)

Council approves budget

On Nov. 27, the City Council approved the 2019-2020 budget, a balanced budget of approximately $277 million. Watch the Council meeting to see City Manager Jennifer Phillips' presentation and learn more.

NE 188th project 

The City of Bothell is preparing to deliver on one of the highest-ranked projects on a list of sidewalk needs. The City is designing a project to add sidewalks, bike lanes and curb ramps to NE 188th Street from just west of Pop Keeney Stadium to 92nd Ave NE. Construction is scheduled to begin this spring, with completion by the end of 2019.

CIty Council approves settlement with Bothell Hotel LLC

The Bothell City Council approved a settlement agreement with Bothell Hotel LLC for repurchase of property next to Bothell City Hall. The City will repurchase the property for $1.27 million, the original sales price. The property will be returned to the City by the end of the year, so the City can pursue environmental cleanup, sale and development.
