Help develop Cultural Plan for Bothell

The City is working to develop a Cultural Plan for Bothell and could use your help. Thanks to a grant from 4Culture, the newly formed Bothell Arts Commission is leading a series of community stakeholder meetings to learn more about Bothell’s cultural and artistic needs. Three stakeholder meetings are scheduled in October. Choose one date and let DeNae McGee know at denae.mcgee@bothellwa.gov :

·         Saturday, October 12 – 10:00am to 1pm, or

·         Friday, October 18 – 9:00am to noon, or

·         Monday, October 28 – 2:00pm to 5:00 pm

All meetings take place in the Council Chambers of Bothell City Hall. Learn more about the Cultural Plan at www.bothellwa.gov/Develop-Cultural-Plan.

Students walking to school

Safer walking routes for students

The Safe Streets & Sidewalks Levy is continuing to improve the walk to & from school for local students. Parents can plan a safer walking route to & from school using the pedestrian flag locations on the City website.  In the future, new projects will provide safer walks to school near NE 188th St. and Canyon Park Middle School. Many thanks to the Public Works Street crews for their work to re-stock flags and clean signs before the new school year begins.
