Inspection requests are made through permits.bothellwa.gov. All requests will be logged and assigned to a City Inspector if the request is received by 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. An inspector will respond to the site within 24 hours (subject to normal Monday through Friday business hours).
*Please note, that due to the Governor’s mandates City Hall is currently not open to the public* The City’s Permit Services Counter is located at City Hall, 18415 101st Avenue Northeast. Permit Services hours are specifically from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by the Bothell Municipal Code (BMC 20.02.095) or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the City of Bothell Building Official and obtain the required permit.
