Sale of concessions is permissible at City of Bothell Sportsfields with advanced approval and payment of fees. The renter is responsible for submittal of all concession permits and fees (see Field Scheduling Guide, p. 4). Concessions include, but are not limited to, food, beverages, t-shirt sales, sports equipment, souvenirs, programs, etc. Concession permits must be requested three (3) full weeks prior to the event.
All concessions must meet King or Snohomish County health requirements, and appropriate health permits must be obtained from the county in which field(s) are located. (BMC 8.60.040) Concessionaires must provide the City with a certificate of insurance naming the City additional insured no less than two (2) weeks prior to the event (see Field Scheduling Guide, p. 14). Failure to provide acceptable insurance coverage will result in the denial of concession permit.
Separate requests required for each concessionaire/vendor.
If using awnings or tents, describe how they will be anchored (no stakes permitted).
Items not on list may not be sold at event.
If yes, must be prominently displayed at concession booth. North Creek Sportsfields are in King County.
Concessionaires are limited to one (1) sign with business name/logo. In addition, price sheets not to exceed 11"x17" may be posted. A copy of proposed sign(s) must be submitted, including dimensions. All signage must be hung within the boundaries of the assigned booth space. NO STAKING PERMITTED.
The undersigned hereby requests of the City of Bothell, use of the facilities above and certifies that the information in this request is true and correct. The undersigned agrees to exercise the utmost care in the use of these facilities and property and by signing below the applicant hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City, its elected and appointed officials and employees while acting within the scope of their duties, from any and all claims, demands and causes of action of any kind or character, foreseen or unforeseen, for damages including but not limited to personal injury, death or property damage as well as the cost of defense costs, court costs, witness and attorneys’ fees, in any way arising out of the granting of this permit or arising out of the City’s sole negligence. Applicant expressly waives his/her immunity under Title 51 of the Revised Code of Washington, the Industrial Insurance Act, for injuries to his/her employees and agrees that the obligation to indemnify, defend and hold harmless provided for in this paragraph extends to any claim brought by or on behalf of any employee or representative of the applicant.
