    Is pet waste a problem in your area? If you live in Bothell's city limits, you can request a free 12" x 24" metal-staked sign to help remind neighbors to pick up after their pets. We are offering up to two signs per requester, available while supplies last. Signs may only be used on property that is within Bothell's city limits.

  8. If you're requesting a sign for PRIVATE PROPERTY*

    If you are requesting a sign for your own private property or are part of an HOA, we will typically put your sign(s) in Will-Call at City Hall within 15 business days of receiving your request. We will email you when your sign is ready so you can come pick it up and install it on your private property. City Hall is located at 18415 101st Ave NE and is open to the public from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please let us know whether you or someone else will be picking up the sign(s) so we can put the correct name on the Will-Call pickup slip. Signs that are not picked up within three weeks will be returned to inventory and you will need to submit a new request.

    If you are part of an HOA, you are responsible for ensuring that the sign is allowed to be posted per your HOA's rules.

    *If you are requesting a sign for land that is not owned by City of Bothell or by you (e.g. Tolt Pipeline Trail, Sammamish River Trail, etc.), you must provide proof of permission from the landowner before we can install any signs.

    In most cases, the City's Animal Control Officer is able to install a sign on public property within 15 business days.

    If you live in Bothell's city limits, we will review your request and contact you with any further questions. We can offer up to two signs per requester, available while supplies last. We cannot provide signs to residents or areas that are outside of Bothell's city limits. If we are out of signs, we will notify you and will add your name to a waitlist for the next time we are able to restock the supply.
